Maria Hummel has published a novel,
Wilderness Run (St. Martin’s, 2002), winner of Bread Loaf Fellowship and a selection of the Doubleday Literary Guild. Her poetry, stories, and nonfiction have appeared in
Ploughshares,
New England Review,
Crazyhorse, and
Los Angeles Magazine, among others. A selection of her poetry is collected in
City of the Moon, winner of the 1999 Harperprints Poetry Chapbook competition. She is a former Wallace Stegner Fellow at Stanford University.
