A Group of Poems on Environmental Protection
A Group of Poems on Environmental Protection
in the original Chinese
The Metropolis Has Been Landscaped
The grey city has suddenly turned green
How is it that nobody prunes
O it's plastic turf
Sharing the Fate of Death
The Yellow Sea industrialized is called the Red Sea
The Red Sea industrialized is called the Black Sea
At last they are all called the Dead Sea
Fresh Water is not Fresh
The river of fresh water is going to change its name
It's native to be changed to Stream of Muddy Water
And more vivid to be called the River of Black Dragon

A Group of Poems on Environmental Protection is from Selected Poems of Wind Lynn (The Milky Way Publishing Co., 2004).
