Biography

Connie Voisine’s first book, Cathedral of the North, was published in 2001 by University of Pittsburgh Press, winner of the AWP Award in Poetry. Her second book, Rare High Meadow of Which I Might Dream was published in spring 2008 by The University of Chicago Press. Her latest collection, Calle Florista, was published by The University of Chicago Press in 2015.  She has had poems published in PloughsharesThreepenny ReviewGeorgia Review, and elsewhere. An associate professor at New Mexico State University, she lives in Las Cruces, New Mexico, with her husband, the writer Rus Bradburd, and their daughter, Alma.
