Biography

Lee Herrick is the author of This Many Miles from Desire (WordTech Editions, 2007) and Gardening Secrets of the Dead, published by WordTech in November 2012. He was born in Daejeon, Korea, and adopted at ten months. His poems have been published in the ZYZZYVA, The Bloomsbury Review, Many Mountains Moving, and Berkeley Poetry Review, among others; and in anthologies such as The Place That Inhabits Us: Poems from the San Francisco Bay Watershed, Seeds from a Silent Tree: An Anthology of Korean Adoptees; Hurricane Blues: Poems About Katrina and Rita; and Highway 99: A Literary Journey through California’s Great Central Valley, 2nd edition. He also guest edited New Truths: Writing in the 21st Century by Korean Adoptees for Asian American Poetry and Writing. He teaches at Fresno City College and lives in Fresno, California.
