Biography

Stacey Lynn Brown was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia, and received an MFA in poetry from The University of Oregon. Her poems, essays, and reviews have appeared in various literary journals and anthologies, including Crab Orchard ReviewNatural BridgeThe Lullwater Review, and Southern Quarterly Review. Her first collection, Cradle Song, was published by C&R Press in January 2009, and her second collection, The Shallows: Poems, was published by Persea Books in fall 2018. She is editor, with Oliver de la Paz, of A Face to Meet the Faces: An Anthology of Contemporary Persona Poetry (University of Akron Press, 2012). She is an assistant professor of English at Indiana University Bloomington.
